Veronica is a mental health survivor and a victim of rape. Experiencing emotional abuse and some physical abuse from her family at a young age, Veronica was conditioned to question her self-worth. Veronica, like all of us, is hard-wired for connection and shows her resilience in her ability to continue to reach out to those around her with a smile on her face and a joyful warmth that draws you in. She is using her platform and title as World’s Ms. California Tourism 2019 to share her message and advocate for survivors of abuse.
